3-way valves with cartridge technology are throttle valves with a spool that are used for flow control functions. They are equipped with three ports so that they can be used to extend or retract a single-acting cylinder.

The position of the spool is controlled by integrated onboard electronics with a closed-loop control circuit. In combination with the highly dynamic Moog servo valves, this enables excellent dynamic response and superior repeatability. The valves are available with various fail-safe options to meet most special application requirements.
