The modular die cushion system of AXXERON Hydrolux consists of a main cylinder with an integrated position measuring system, accumulators, a hydraulic power unit, and several hydraulic manifolds. In addition, motion control software libraries and the hardware components are available.
The die cusion manifold is flanged directly to the cylinder and includes the hydraulic accumulators via a separate, direct mount adapter manifold. This results in a compact, rigid hydraulic system that enables highly dynamic control. The motion control system is realized with a separate hardware and software modules. The software of the modular die cushion system can reduce force overshoots and realize customer-specific force profiles in the drawing process with high accuracy.
