2-way pressure-reducing valves are used to reduce variable inlet pressure to a lower, constant outlet pressure. The reduced pressure can be set using a pressure relief valve on the valve cover. Depending on the configuration, these valves can also be used as pressure-compensating valves.
Depending on the connection and cover used, these valves can be used for pressure reducing functions or, in combination with a throttle valve, as pressure compensators. The valves are available in normally closed or normally open versions.
