KANBAN INSTEAD OF SUPPLY UNCERTAINTY
More and more customers are under time pressure – short delivery times are becoming the decisive factor. We’ve adapted: for over 50% of our product portfolio, we deliver within 10 working days, including K6 cartridge valves for Presses & Forming Technology, Plastic & Die Casting, and Marine & Offshore. Need a different product? We’re usually able to deliver quickly for that too – just get in touch.
This is made possible by a demand-driven inventory principle known in Lean Management as Kanban: instead of producing on a “just in case” basis, a defined quantity of an item is kept in stock. As soon as a part is taken from stock, actual consumption automatically triggers replenishment – not forecasting. This keeps production flexible enough to respond quickly to real demand. For you as a customer, nothing changes in the ordering process – you order as usual, only the delivery time is significantly shorter.
